Alison has been in the ELICOS Industry for 30 years. She began as a study tour teacher and guide and then ESL teacher at many schools across the Gold Coast. After a couple of years travelling the world as an International Flight Attendant, Alison settled back down on the Gold Coast and continued teaching English. She has since extended her qualifications with an International Diploma of Language Teaching Management and Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management. These Degrees allowed her to move into management positions at schools on the Gold Coast as well as teaching in the VET sector. Alison is a true Gold Coast local, having lived and worked on the Gold Coast for 50 years. She prides herself on being Aussie mum to all her students as well as 3 children of her own.
